Fraser Livesey specialises in the areas of Crime and Regulatory Crime. He has concentrated in these areas throughout his career and his practice involves both defence and prosecution work, having long experience in both the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal.
In the criminal field he has been instructed in large scale conspiracies to supply large quantities of class A drugs over a wide area and offences of laundering the significant financial proceeds thereof. He has appeared in many cases of serious violence (regularly including murder and attempted murder), armed robbery, blackmail, kidnapping, fraud (including excise frauds, tobacco smuggling and professional clients), sexual offences arson and cases involving firearms.
His work in Regulatory Crime includes Health and Safety Executive prosecutions, Coroner’s Inquests and local authority prosecutions, having acted on behalf of commercial clients in these areas.
