Profile:

Francesca began her career in London, where she completed pupillage at the chambers of Roger Henderson Q.C. at 2 Harcourt Buildings, Temple. Thereafter she worked in the offices of Stanbrook & Hooper, in Brussels. In 1998 Francesca joined chambers at 3 Paper Buildings, Temple where she practised exclusively in family law. Francesca moved to Manchester in 2006 and she has specialised in ancillary relief since that date.  Her practice covers all aspects of matrimonial finance provision, with a particular interest in cases involving farms and landed estates and the associated issues of trusts and inherited wealth, together with complex corporate and tax structures.

In private law residence and contact disputes, Francesca is frequently instructed in cases which involve sensitive cultural and religious issues, matters of domestic abuse and alcohol/drugs misuse and matters in which there is contested psychological or psychiatric evidence.

Francesca also accepts instructions in public law children work and she has acted on behalf of local authorities and children in serious non-accidental injury cases.

Recognised for her commitment to her clients and for her determination, Francesca’s approach is straightforward and constructive.
