Profile
Jonathan specialises in personal injury and related fields of work. He is experienced in the full range of such work, including County Court and High Court trials, appeals (including Court of Appeal) and a variety of interlocutory hearings. He acts on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in broadly equal proportions. Over the last 5 years, he has dealt with a number of instructions (both Claimant and Defendant) involving:
-
spinal injuries
-
brain injuries
-
upper and lower limb amputations
He has experience both of mediation and (commonly) Joint Settlement Meetings, in high value / catastrophic injury claims. He is routinely instructed to prepare paperwork (Schedules of Damage / Counter-Schedules / Agenda and Questions for experts etc.) in a range of injury cases of greatly varying severity and complexity. In addition, he often deals with fatal accident claims and with issues (including preliminary trials) related to ‘capacity’.
Jonathan is currently Head of the Personal Injury Group at Deans Court Chambers
