Personal Injuries

Craig Sephton specialises in dealing with cases involving catastrophic injuries for both claimants and defendants.
He has particular interests in asbestos disease litigation and clinical negligence.

Business and Professional

Craig Sephton is experienced in pursuing and defending claims against professionals, particularly solicitors and surveyors.
He currently acts on behalf of the shareholders of Claims Direct plc who are presenting a landmark group claim against the directors and others in respect of the allegedly misleading listing particulars issued prior to the initial public offering.

Health, Safety and Regulatory

Craig Sephton regularly acts for the General Medical Council in front of the GMC’s Fitness to Practise panels.

He has an interest in environmental law and has a growing practice in relation to the discharge of effluents, landfill and waste-disposal. He is presently instructed in a complex raft of appeals before the Planning Inspectorate in which major parts of European and National environmental policy are under scrutiny.

He has acted before the VAT and Duties Tribunal and the Chancery Division in a number of cases concerning indirect taxes (VAT and Landfill Tax) on behalf of the Commissioners and of the taxpayer. He has defended many prosecutions brought under health and safety legislation.
