Profile

Anna had a family law pupillage with Louise Bancroft at Deans Court Chambers and, thereafter, practised in both civil and family work for several years. Anna has built a busy and thriving practice specialising in family law. Anna has a personable and pragmatic approach, which she puts to good effect both inside and outside the courtroom.

Anna is well regarded in the area of both private and public children's law work. She acts regularly for local authorities all over the North West and also has significant experience representing parents and children in cases involving non accidental injury and serious allegations of physical and sexual abuse. Anna has experience acting in cases with an international element.

Anna also enjoys ancillary relief work, together with cases brought under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, in which her civil background gives her a particular interest.
